Headed for the 40s! When Houston will see a break from warm, humid mornings

Much cooler air on the way

Houston will see morning lows in the upper 70s for the next two mornings, and then temperatures will crash to cool by Sunday morning behind severe storms and a cold front.

Houston will see an almost 30-degree temperature difference from Saturday morning to Sunday morning. Morning lows are trending below average early week.

Waking up to below average morning temperatures starting Sunday

The front will also tame daily high temperatures and humidity starting Sunday, dropping high temperatures almost 15 degrees from Saturday to Sunday. The other great news is that the dry, cooler air means more sunshine for Houston.

Temperatures feel less like early summer this weekend
