HOUSTON – Authorities are looking for an SUV driver accused of forcing a motorcyclist off his bike Wednesday night, causing him to fall a couple of hundred feet after hitting an overpass.

It happened around 11 p.m. in the northbound lanes of Sam Houston Parkway North and I-45 N.
Lt. Willkens with the Houston Police Department said witnesses told them an unidentified motorcyclist and an SUV driver engaged in some kind of road rage incident, where the SUV driver forced the rider off his bike after hitting the overpass and falling a couple of hundred feet from the flyover.
The motorcyclist landed in a grassy area and was rushed to a nearby trauma center in serious condition.
The roadway was shut down for hours while police conducted their investigation, but the hunt for the SUV driver continues.
