Family believes missing Spring teen may be in Colorado Springs

A 17-year-old from Spring vanished Wednesday morning, and his family believes he may have made it to Colorado Springs.

Authorities and family members are searching for Edward Walther, who disappeared from his Spring home on Wednesday morning. Walther was last seen around 10 a.m. leaving his residence on Park Shadow Court on foot.

He was wearing a bright blue Under Armour shirt, black shorts, and orange tennis shoes. Walther is described as 5′9″, 170 pounds, with brown hair, brown eyes, and a fair complexion.

In a Facebook post, Walther’s family shared that they believe he may have traveled to Colorado Springs and are hoping someone spots him and alerts police.

“We are hoping someone calls the police and they can talk to him until we can fly there to get him,” the post read.
