HOUSTON – A woman accused of trying to frame her ex lover by calling two airports about a bomb threat is now wanted by police.
Trekalon Price, 25, is facing a felony charge of making a false alarm or report after allegedly threatening to bomb and shoot up Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport and the Eastern Iowa Airport in Cedar Rapids in January.

According to charging documents, on Jan. 4, Bush Airport received a call from a woman, later identified as Price, who claimed that a suspect had just arrived at the airport on Delta Airlines and would be flying later that day to Cedar Rapids. Price provided the man’s name, birth date, identification number, and phone number, urging law enforcement to respond.
TSA agents, K-9 units, and bomb technicians were called in to sweep the airport. A similar bomb threat was made to the Cedar Rapids airport, also triggering a security response.
When detectives later spoke with the accused man, they determined he was not a suspect but a witness. The man told investigators he was unaware of the allegations against him and was in disbelief. He said that Price was someone he had been “messing around with” and that she had previously caused problems for him, including making calls that led to him being fired from his job.
Investigators learned that Price had used mobile apps to make calls from different numbers. The man said he last spoke with her around the end of 2024. He believes Price knew about his flight plans because he had been communicating regularly with his child’s mother.
A witness from the man’s former workplace confirmed that a woman had repeatedly called from multiple numbers. The calls reportedly escalated over time, with the woman even pretending to be his probation officer and claiming the man had failed a drug test, which led to him being fired. Later that same day, the woman allegedly admitted she was not his probation officer.
Price is not in custody and is currently wanted by law enforcement.
