Police looking for driver who hit, left man for dead in SW Houston

HOUSTON – Authorities are looking for a driver who hit a man with their car and left them for dead overnight Thursday in southwest Houston.

It happened around 1:15 a.m. when police said a driver was going westbound on Bissonnet Street and Keegan Road. Simultaneously, an unidentified man was trying to cross the northbound roadway when he was hit by the driver and died at the scene.

Meanwhile, police said the driver did not stop and is actively searching for what was only described as a 4-door sedan, possibly blue or black.
