LEAGUE CITY, Texas – A $50,000 bond was set for a man facing multiple charges in connection with a burglary and attempted sexual assault, according to the police department.
Juan Hernandez, 49, has been charged with burglary of a habitation with intent to commit a sexual offense.

What Happened
On April 15, at approximately 12:23 a.m., LCPD officers responded to a report of a possible burglary at a second-story apartment in the 400 block of Constellation Blvd.
The victim, who was unharmed, told police she had been asleep when she awoke to someone touching her leg. She sat up and screamed upon seeing a completely nude Hispanic male beside her bed.
The suspect reportedly got on top of her, but she was able to push him away and grab her phone. He then fled the scene by jumping over the balcony.
Responding officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect.
Detectives later identified the suspect as Juan Hernandez, who was found to be living in the apartment directly below the victim’s residence.
On April 25, 2025, detectives located Hernandez driving in the 400 block of Texas Avenue and conducted a traffic stop. He was taken into custody without incident.
Hernandez is currently being held under a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detainer.
This remains an ongoing investigation, as Detective Demasi is working to determine whether there may be additional victims.
