Search warrant details murder of suspect in Memphis shooting that left 1 dead, Rapper Sauce Walka injured

HOUSTON – KPRC 2 has obtained a search warrant revealing new details in the death of 21-year-old Jayden Dandridge, who was found fatally shot at an abandoned mall in Houston.

Dandridge was identified as a suspect in a deadly shooting in downtown Memphis that also left Houston rapper Sauce Walka wounded.

Memphis police say the incident happened on March 22 at approximately 2:42 p.m. at the Weston hotel, located in the 100 block of George W. Lee Avenue.

One man, identified as Letorian Hunt, was pronounced dead at the scene, and Sauce Walka, also given name is Albert Walker Mondane, was taken to the hospital in non-critical condition.

A few days later, Dandridge was found dead on March 27 at around 11:30 a.m. at GreensPoint Mall in Houston. Records show he was shot several times on a loading dock at the abandoned mall.

Two 9mm fired shell casings were found near Dandridge’s body and several shattered small pieces of PVC pipe, documents read.

He had been identified as the suspect in the shooting, according to the document, which sought access to his phone to get his call records and location around the time of both murders. His phone was also pinged around the Galleria area in Houston about 8:30 p.m. on March 25.

Investigators believe Dandridge was in Houston between March 22 and March 28 before his body was found.

A second suspect, Kevin Brown, 22, has been identified and remains at large. A warrant for his arrest has been issued charging him with First-Degree Murder, Attempted First-Degree Murder, Employment of a Firearm during the Commission of a Dangerous Felony, and Theft of property $10,000-$60,000.
