SPRING, Texas – An investigation is underway after a homeowner was pistol-whipped and robbed during a home invasion in Spring. It happened after he opened his door for a woman who set him up, according to Constable Mark Herman’s Office.
The home invasion was reported on April 4 at an apartment located in the 700 block of East Cypresswood Drive.

A Ring doorbell camera shows the woman walking up to the apartment door, with a man wearing a hoodie following not far behind. He appears to gesture for someone to come closer as he passes by.
The victim said he answered the front door for the woman, and she — along with three men — pulled out handguns.
One of the suspects reportedly pistol-whipped the victim and walked into the apartment. The suspect demanded money from those inside and stole $2,000 in cash and a pair of Jordan shoes after ransacking the unit.
The woman reportedly remained inside the apartment during the invasion and made verbal threats. The suspects then fled the scene.
