Federal agents, law enforcement reported at several game rooms across Harris County

HOUSTON – An investigation is underway at at least 12 game rooms across the Houston area on Wednesday.

Homeland Security and the Houston Police Department are leading the investigation. The multiple operations are the result of at least a 4-year undercover investigation

Multiple agencies have joined HSI and HPD, including FBI agents, DEA Houston, Harris County Constable Pct. 4, and Harris County Constable Pct. 1.

Connected to the investigations, FBI Houston is currently assisting at three different residences executing search warrants in Fort Bend County, in Richmond and Rosenberg. The FBI Houston’s involvements started around noon in assistance to HSI.

KPRC 2’s Bryce Newberry is at one of the locations, located at 3620 Tidwell, near Dodson.

Outside that game room, a line of people could be seen standing.

A woman, who was inside when one of the raids happened, said law enforcement checked everyone for warrants and ICE detained some of the people.

A photo from the scene also shows broken glass on the ground from the building’s door.

Investigators could be seen removing some of the game machines from the Tidwell location after the raid.

We will update this article as more information becomes available.
