Three employees from a car dealership in Bacliff are behind bars after authorities say they defrauded customers in a six-figure scheme.
On March 25, 2025, the Gulf Coast Auto Crimes Task Force (ACTF), in collaboration with the League City Police Department and the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles, concluded a three-month investigation into the Bacliff Auto used car dealership located at 510 Grand Ave, Bacliff.

Investigators discovered that three owner/operators of the dealership had defrauded at least 15 individuals by knowingly selling vehicles without disclosing existing liens.
Eduardo Delgadillo, 37, Noraly Oropeza, 35, and Daniel Delgadillo, 19, were arrested for engaging in organized criminal activity. Each individual has a bond set at $100,000.
The Texas DMV estimates the total fraud at approximately $130,000.
