Roommates found gunned down inside southeast Houston home

HOUSTON – An investigation is underway after two roommates were found gunned down inside a southeast Houston home, according to Houston police.

The shooting happened at a home located in the 10315 block of Dulcimer Street about 11:25 p.m. on Wednesday.

Officers arrived at the residence and found the two men, ages 32 and 37, inside the home suffering from gunshot wounds. The 37-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene and the 32-year-old man was taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police confirmed that the victims were roommates.

Investigators learned that two other men exited a vehicle, held the 32-year-old roommate at gunpoint in the driveway and demanded entry inside the home. Once inside, the armed men fired multiple rounds, striking both victims.

The suspects fled the scene in a newer model, dark SUV.
