It happened just after 11 p.m. when investigators were called to a shooting and robbery on Windswept Lane near Hillcroft Avenue near Westpark Tollway.

Police at the scene found a 15-year-old girl shot in the arm and thigh and witnesses said she and three others tried to rob a street vendor selling food near his truck.

Details on how everything unfolded are still slightly unclear, but police believe the 15-year-old, another older teenage girl, and two young men robbed and pistolwhipped him with two airsoft guns before trying to steal his truck. When they tried to take off with it, the street vendor’s brother arrived in his car to block them in.

Officers were able to catch and detain all four of the robbers, who have not been identified as of this writing, but Lt. Willkens described the 15-year-old as a teenage runaway.
