CYPRESS, Texas – A person was flown to the hospital after a small chase ended with a major crash in northwest Harris County overnight Friday.

Details are limited, so it’s unclear how everything unfolded or where the chase started. Still, the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office said it ended sometime after midnight with the driver crashing on Huffmeister and Telge Road in Cypress.

Both roadways were shut down for several hours.

The driver, whose identity hasn’t been released as of this writing, looked like they crashed in a wooded area near an apartment complex. At least one person was flown to a hospital but constable deputies did not disclose who was taken.
