Tips lead to arrests, shut down of illegal gambling operation in Humble

HUMBLE, Texas – An illegal gambling operation was shut down and two arrests were made after undercover investigators found gambling devices and activities taking place.

Investigators from Harris County Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman’s office received tips from the public about suspected illegal activity in the 21600 block of Aldine Westfield Road in Humble.

After obtaining a search warrant, officers raided the establishment and seized approximately $3,000 in suspected gambling proceeds, several illegal gambling devices, and supporting documentation.

Gissel Alejandra Galeano-Huete, an employee at the establishment, was arrested and charged with possession of gambling device paraphernalia. Carrie Alice Hornsby, a patron at the location, was also arrested for an unrelated outstanding warrant.
