MISSOURI CITY, Texas – A former Missouri City police officer indicted for a deadly crash which claimed the life of a mother and her 16-year-old son in June is back in custody after he allegedly violated the terms of his bond.
Court records said that Blademir Viveros, 27, tested positive for multiple substances, including alcohol, THC and amphetamines, which he’s not permitted to use under his bond conditions. He was unable to provide a valid prescription for any of the substances he tested positive for.

Viveros was also required to have a job as part of his bond agreement, and he was unable to provide proof of employment. Court records said that Viveros is believed to have recently been fired from his job at Wal-Mart and has been driving for DoorDash as he awaits trial.
Back in November, his bond lowered from $800,000 to $500,000 by a Fort Bend County judge, and he bonded out shortly thereafter.
The judge has revoked Viveros’ old bond agreement, and his new bond is $650,000.
Viveros was indicted on Oct. 28 for manslaughter in connection with a crash which killed Angela Stewart and her son Mason Stewart.
Viveros was reportedly responding to a report of a robbery and was driving over the posted speed limit down Cartwright Road in Missouri City.
At some point, a 2005 Toyota Corolla passenger car failed to yield the right-of-way out of a Dollar Tree parking lot on Cartwright near FM 2234 when Viveros’ SUV struck their vehicle.
The investigation determined that Viveros did not have the emergency lights of his vehicle turned on at the time of the crash.
Viveros was taken to Memorial Hermann Houston in the Medical Center for treatment and later released.
Angela and Mason Stewart died at the scene of the crash.
