HOUSTON – The eastbound lanes of the Katy Freeway has been shut down following a fatal crash Thursday afternoon, according to Houston TxDOT.
The crash was reported at 3:32 p.m. on IH-10 Katy eastbound at SH-6, according to Houston TranStar.

According to the Houston Fire Department, five vehicles were involved in the crash, including a Houston METRO bus.
Officials said one blue Toyota Camry was in the HOV lane and it was trying to pass another car but struck another car and rolled over into the other lanes.
One person from the blue Camry was pronounced dead at the scene, according to HFD. Two others were taken to a nearby hospital.
