Find trending items at this unique TikTok-inspired store in Katy

HOUSTON – If you’re gift shopping and have no clue what to buy, you may want to check out this unique small business in Katy.

Dollar Shop, located on 870 S Mason Rd #134, sells retail and daily necessities, like pet supplies, kitchen utensils, tech accessories, beauty products, faux plants, and Asian-inspired trends.

The items sold are based on what is currently trending in China, Japan and Korea.

The owner, George says he opened the internet store on Nov. 15, 2023 and chose a location in Katy because of its community and benefits for small business owners. He said stores like Wal-Mart, the TikTok shop and Temu inspired him to sell unique items in person.

The prices range from 99 cents to $99 dollars, which is why he calls it Dollar Shop.
