HOUSTON – The KPRC 2 Investigates true crime docuseries ‘The Evidence Room’ is back with an all-new season that will explore some of the most notorious crimes in Houston’s history.

The season 5 premiere takes you inside Santa Fe High School on May 18, 2018, the day a student shot and killed eight classmates and two teachers.

“There was the most horrendous sound,” recalls former substitute teacher Flo Rice. “When I realized I had been shot, I thought, ‘There is someone hunting me.’ This fear was visceral.”

In this new episode of ‘The Evidence Room,’ we’ll reveal never-before-heard details about the actions of those impacted that traumatic day and take a closer look at the psychological depth of the gunman - who has yet to stand trial.

‘The Evidence Room’ is now in its fifth season.

The original true crime docuseries produced by KPRC 2 Investigates received national honors from the 44th Annual Telly Awards in 2023. The Telly Awards honors “innovative, inclusive, and disruptive work that breaks through the static.”

You can stream new episodes of ‘The Evidence Room’ every Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. on KPRC 2+. You can also catch up on past seasons here.
