The restaurant is hosting a toy drive with one free “Baby G” single-patty burger for anyone who brings a new, unwrapped toy. According to a news release, Santa Trill will also be handing out special gifts to the first 100 kids who come to Trill Burgers today.
“Santa Trill is coming through, y’all,” Bun B said in an Instagram video while wearing a Santa Claus hat. “We just wanna thank you for blessing us and making us the company that we are today, making sure that everybody gets a little something... Merry Trillmas and I’ll see y’all Monday.”
Trill Burgers launched the #12daysoftrillmas on Dec. 3 with a Trill Tenders pop-up outside of NRG Stadium. The Trill team and Modelo partnered to give away 100 combos at Trill Tenders’ first pop-up in Houston.
The next days of Trillmas included free fries with any burger purchase at Trill Burgers on Dec. 4, a free drink on Dec. 5, a free burger with any combo on Dec. 6, and 50% off for first responders and healthcare workers on Dec. 7-8. That was followed by the release of five different limited edition New Era Trill Burgers hats, including on Dec. 10 when Texans mascot TORO and the Texans Cheerleaders made an appearance at the restaurant.
Trill Burgers has fed several notable guests, such as Shaq, Drake, Mike Tyson, and former Astros coach Dusty Baker.
If you want to taste a Trill Burger for the holidays, you have to move quickly-- the restaurant will be closed for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve to give its team time to celebrate the holidays.
