SE Texas’ pattern has been active with multiple rounds of rain and storms dumping hail, causing flooding and plenty of lightning and thunder.

Over the next three days, a stalled front will pass over the region, bringing low-end chances for showers and storms.
Thursday looks to be the most active day, with storm chances mainly along the coast during the late afternoon through evening hours—there is an isolated chance for a storm to become severe.
Rain chances hover around 20% on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, so if you have Mother’s Day plans, you don’t need to cancel them.
The cold front will clear the area, bringing drier and cooler air and dropping temperatures into the upper 70s and low 80s.
An upper-level low that develops east of SE Texas could increase rain chances if it moves to the west, but that does not look likely.
10-day forecast:
Next week looks dry and it gets hotter. By the end of next week temperatures climb to the 90s! It will be humid too.
