Round one of the Chevron Championship is Thursday, and thankfully, there shouldn’t be too many weather delays during the afternoon. Showers and storms are hit or miss across southeast Texas.
Keep on an eye on radar here:
However, we are monitoring storms to the northwest. If they stay together as they move south out of North Texas, they could impact northern communities, including The Woodlands, from 6 PM to 10 PM.
Round two of the golf tournament is on Friday, and shower chances are only 20%.
By Round three and four, spectators and competitors will not have to worry about rain but more about the heat and humidity that will build over the weekend.
