What to expect for Easter weekend:

HOUSTON – While Saturday may bring some isolated light showers late in the day, more widespread rain is expected on Sunday. The rain starts light in the morning with stronger storms expected in the afternoon and evening. Strong to severe thunderstorms may form north of the Houston.

It might be wise to have an umbrella handy, or plan for inside egg hunts for Easter Sunday. We’re not expecting a washout but some backup plans for inside might be a good idea. Sunday morning into the afternoon are mostly dry or have mainly light rain but showers will increase late afternoon and stick around through Sunday night.
