Houston’s cool mornings coming to end after Wednesday

Pattern change brings hot, humid and rainy days

Wednesday’s forecast:

Enjoy Wednesday morning temperatures in the low 60s. This maybe last cool morning for a while in SE Texas.

Cool start Wednesday

Wednesday afternoon temperatures are closer to average with bearable humidity.

Near average with more sunshine

Thursday’s Forecast:

Unfortunately, this reprieve from the sticky weather will be short. A constant southerly wind pumps in humidity from the Gulf, bringing plenty of humidity and what feels like temps in the low 90s starting on Thursday, into the holiday weekend.

Southerly winds will transport moisture into SE Texas
Dew Points rise with southerly flow

LOOKING AHEAD: An early peep (get it??) at Houston’s Easter Weekend forecast. Here’s what to know

An early look at Easter weekend still looks very warm and a little cloudier. It’s still early - but we’re watching for the potential of our next system to stall close enough to Houston that we’ll likely see some scattered showers and a few thunderstorms for Easter Sunday.

Showers for southeast Texas, storms across the mid west.

Your 10-day forecast:

After a dry start to March, rain chances increase throughout the next 10 days. With temperatures and humidity staying high.

Headed for higher temperatures and rain chances
