Kicking off the work week - warm and sunny in Houston.

Tracking a weak “cool” front Tuesday morning

Today’s forecast:

We’re starting the work week with classic spring-like conditions, sunny and coupled with slightly gusty winds. Today we were close to record-breaking temperatures, 89 in 1996, and we hit 86.

Tracking the next front:

A very weak “cool” front will slide through Texas Monday into Tuesday. You won’t even notice it besides the wind change for a small portion of Tuesday - temperatures will still be well above average with our morning lows in the 60s.

Your 10-day forecast:

We continue to be stuck under high pressure for most of the week. A constant southerly wind will pump in the humidity from the Gulf bringing in plenty of humidity and feels-like temps in the low 90s.

An early look at Easter weekend looks to be still very warm and a little cloudier. It’s still early - but we’re watching for the potential of our next system to stall close enough to Houston that we’ll likely see some scattered showers and a few thunderstorms for Easter Sunday.
