Humidity will play peek-a-boo late in the week ahead and behind a cold front.
Thursday, the cold front approaches Southeast Texas. Ahead of its arrival, dew points rise into the low 60s.
To put that into perspective, any dew point temperature at 60 is humid, 65 is muggy, and anything above 65 is miserable.
Thankfully, this dew point level isn’t stifling and will be short-lived. Friday, behind the cold front, dew point temperatures crash to the 30s, reinforcing dry air.
It isn’t until next week that humidity will peak and stay around from early week through late week.
