The warm-up begins! Houston bouncing back to 80s Wednesday

Back to average before heating above average

Wednesday’s Warm-Up:

This will be Houston’s last morning in the 40s and 50s for a while.

Chilly start

Instead of waves of cold air, warmer air settles over Houston. Wednesday afternoon highs reach the low 80s which is close to average for this time of year.

Sunny stretch continues

The only issue we’ll have to watch for Wednesday is ozone levels rising.

Late Week Change-Up:

A slight change occurs late in the week as a cold front approaches. We’re not expecting any rain from it, although it will bring in more humidity from the Gulf so expect temps to feel a little stickier by the end of the week.

Southeast Texas taps into Gulf moisture as winds turn southeasterly ahead of a cold front, increasing dew points.

High pressure placement will help draw moisture from the Gulf ahead of a cold front

Don’t worry - although the humidity increases, it won’t be off the charts.

No moisture to worry about
More humidity Thursday

How about the rest of the week?

High pressure will dominate through the weekend ahead of rain chances lat next week. Prepare for temperatures to come close to 90s next week.
