HOUSTON – Tonight’s Forecast:
If you’ve stepped outside today, you’d know, IT’S COLD. In fact, we’re more then 20° colder this afternoon than our high yesterday. As we head into the evening hours, we’re already seeing temperatures quickly drop into the 50s, but they’ll drop even further into the 30s and 40s Monday morning!
Temperatures are so chilly, counties just to the north of Burleson County and Brazos County are in a Frost Advisory through the early morning hours on Monday.
Morning Lows this Week: Grab a jacket, please.
Thanks to yesterday’s strong cold front - it’s going to be chilly the next couple of days. So, you’ll want to make sure your kids wear a coat, or they will be chilly!
Monday’s Forecast:
The good thing is if you thought Sunday was too chilly, we only have to wait about 24 hours.
We’ll still begin Monday on the cold side; our morning lows in the 40s. A high-pressure system works its way across the Lone Star state, bringing sunshine our way. This will allow temperatures to warm back up into the mid 60s by Monday afternoon, but we’ll still have breezy north winds of 20-25 mph. At least it’ll feel nice in the sun!
10 Day Forecast:
After a stormy last couple of weeks, I think you’ll find this extended forecast to be perfect. Plenty of sunshine and temperatures rise back up into the 80s by mid-week.
