This comes as the National Weather Service in Houston issued a Tornado Watch for parts of Texas and Louisiana through 9 p.m. Saturday.

While the threat of flooding is low, there is still a chance that some stronger, isolated storms could flood some spots. When the cooler air and the warm air clash, it can spark intense storms, which could produce heavy downpours on our saturated soil, heightening our flood risk today.
