Southerly winds continue to pick up speed Wednesday, gusting as high as 35 mph. The National Weather Service is issuing a Wind Advisory for Galveston, Chambers, Wharton, Fort Bend, Matagorda, Brazoria, Harris, Liberty, Montgomery, Polk, Walker and Jackson Counties from 7 AM to 5 PM Wednesday.
Secure any loose objects, and don’t be surprised if you see a few tree branches blown down. Otherwise watch for pockets of power outages and diffculty driving. Winds stay breezy throughout this week.
