Starting the first week of April warm in Houston

But changes are on the way next week.

Tonight’s Forecast:

HOUSTON – We’re ending the last night of March in the 60s and we’re starting the first week of April with above average temperatures. Actually, we have a chance to break record mid-week. As you get the kids ready for school, you might want to dress them in layers, by 7 am, we will be in the 60s and hit our high in the 80s by afternoon. Plus, the humidity will make it feel a little warmer too!

Warm overnight especially south of I-10

We’re tracking foggy conditions tomorrow morning - especially if you live just south of I-10. Make sure to wake up with us in the morning for a full update on your driving conditions - so you’re not late for work.

Thickest fog likely along the coast

Highs in the mid 80s and plenty of humidity, a tick cooler compared to yesterday, but still above average.

Late Week Storm Chances:

A curious set up later this week will have most of SE Texas wedged between a strong area of high pressure to our southeast and a strong upper level low pressure cell in Arizona. That will send a series of cold front headed across Texas, which will eventually bring shower and thunderstorm chances to Houston by Saturday.

10 Day Forecast:

We’ll start the week off on a dry note - in terms of rain. Humidity will keep itself around and temperatures still reach the 80s as we watch for our next system to move in the back half of the work week.
