Tuesday’s forecast:

HOUSTON – This is the last day temperatures start in the 40s. The rest of the week mornings warm to the 50s and 60s. Afternoon temperatures warm too. Houston reaches the upper 70s Tuesday with light southerly winds.

If you’ve noticed that you’re feeling a bit sneezy and sniffly, we do have issues with tree pollen. Oak numbers are climbing for the first time this year. You may have noticed the cat tails falling from the trees. Ash tree levels are also elevated.

Wednesday’s forecast:

A storm system moves in from the west. It brings a severe weather threat north of Houston. On a scale of 1 to 5, it’s a one. The chance of Houston getting rain and thunderstorms is 30%.

Friday night to Saturday morning severe weather threat:

A cold front moves into southeast Texas Friday night. This is a major storm system but we are on the south end of it. Our northeastern counties have a severe weather threat. Houston has a 30% chance of rain and possibly thunderstorms Saturday. This storm system will affect a large part of the country with snow, winds, and flooding.

10-day forecast:

There is a chance Wednesday and Saturday’s system miss us in Houston. We’ll keep you posted as we watch these two systems. The rest of the story are our warming temperatures. Friday we have a chance to tie a record high of 88° set back in 2008. St. Patrick’s Day weather looks good. Have a great Spring Break!
