Windy Wednesday! Wind Advisory lifted in Houston after breezy morning

Wind gusts up to 50 mph Wednesday morning had wind chills in the teens in some areas!

As expected, the strong cold front that moved through the area has really cranked up the winds that are spilling in behind it through most of Wednesday.

The problem for most of the early afternoon will be that the wind is causing temperatures to feel even colder than they are. Here is a snapshot of what to expect with the winds and wind chills as you step out this afternoon:

With winds still blowing into the afternoon, here’s a look at what the wind chill will feel like as you step outside. Bundle up!

While the winds will slowly back off this evening, we’ll still be dealing with a sizeable wind chill through Thursday morning.

In fact, that will be an issue for Friday morning as well.
