Wind chills range from 7° to 15°! Extreme cold warnings go into effect at midnight and last through 10 am for most of SE Texas. Tomorrow afternoon will feel better with temperatures climbing to the mid-40s under mostly sunny skies. The sunshine will make the afternoon feel much better outside.

10 Day Forecast:

Friday morning is also below freezing but the wind should have subsided by then, so for now, there are no cold warnings in place. Mardi Gras starts in Galveston Friday night and it will be cold! Our next round of storms is expected Saturday afternoon/night and last through the early part of the day Sunday. Next week temperatures warm back to the 70s and it will feel like spring again. Stay safe from the cold the next few days.
