Houston’s stretch of 80s coming to end after the weekend

Rain chances return next week

Clouds increase Sunday with highs in the 80s

Friday’s Forecast:

Friday will be yet another warm and humid day. Temperatures in the afternoon will climb into the lower-80s under a mix of sun and clouds. Houston has broken record-high temperatures each day this week. So far we are at four days in a row. If we hit 86° on Friday it will be our fifth record high in a row.

Weekend Forecast:

The cold front that tries to move in Sunday will bring an increase in cloud cover. There is a chance it could bring incredibly isolated shower chances, but we’re keeping that chance at 10%. This means you should be good for any Super Bowl watch parties!

10 Day Forecast:

Sunday’s front looks like it will stall out before reaching the Houston metro. As it stalls, other fronts will come behind it and bring some rain chances increasing into early week. Behind it temperatures fall closer to normal, meaning highs in the mid-60s (which is what our mornings will feel like this week) and lows back down in the 50s.
