Overnight to Saturday morning will be the first time Houston does not freeze or in is the 20s since Monday morning. Temperatures lower to the upper-30s.

Saturday’s Forecast:
We will see an increase in cloud cover Saturday with isolated light showers possible in the evening. We are not anticipating anything heavy but some sprinkles are certainly possible the later we get in the day. Highs will be in the lower-60s.
Sunday’s Forecast:
We are tracking the potential for heavy rain on Sunday. Showers and storms will be possible through the day as a front approaches. These storms could bring frequent lightning strikes and a brief intense wind gust.
There is a chance for street flooding Sunday. Rain totals could get up to 3 inches and if that falls in a short amount of time the streets will fill up.

Next week will stay mild, generally in the 60s and even touching 70 mid-week. The tradeoff that we’ll see for this is multiple rain chances starting on Sunday into the end of the week. Rainfall totals could reach 5″ for the week.
10 Day Forecast:
No freezing temperatures and even a couple of days in the lower 70s. The stalled front that could bring rain every day next week moves out Friday. The start of February is dry.
