One more foggy morning for Houston before a cold front arrives Wednesday

A cold front will move through Wednesday bringing back seasonable winter weather

Tonight’s Forecast:

HOUSTON – Tonight we will be warm and foggy. A dense fog advisory is in place through 10AM Wednesday morning. Temperatures will struggle to cool with overnight lows only dropping to the mid-60s.

Wednesday’s Forecast:

Wednesday will once again start muggy and foggy. We are forecasting a cold front to pass through Wednesday afternoon which will finally move the humid conditions out of here. This will also drop our highs into the 60s and our lows back into the 40s.

strong cold front will bring increased rain chances and a cool down Wednesday night into Thursday.

The front will bring a line of broken showers from the NW to the SE across our viewing area. You can expect to see the showers in our NW counties from 10AM-noon, Houston from 1PM-3PM and the coast between 3PM-5PM.

Behind Wednesday’s cold, cooler, drier air moves in, bringing back sunshine and more December-like temperatures. This will bring perfect weather for this weekend! The official start of winter, the Winter Solstice, is Saturday.

Our weather will be wonderful this weekend with sunny skies and temperatures in the 60s. We will warm up slightly next week before a mid-week cold front. This will bring some rain chances around Christmas but for now we are keeping it dry. However, the forecast will likely adjust over the next few days so expect to see some changes as we get new information.
