For Austin, Colorado, Polk and Waller counties temperatures can drop as low as 32°.
For our far northern counties Brazos, Burleson, Grimes, Houston, Madison, Montgomery, San Jacinto, Trinity, Walker and Washington counties temperatures can drop as low as 30°.
The National Weather Service issues freeze warnings for locations that will drop below 32° for two hours or longer.
This is only issued once per county per season, so won’t be issued again for the rest of the winter for our northern counties as long as they do hit freezing Tuesday night.
