HOUSTON – Temperatures are cool tonight with cloudy skies and temperatures falling to the 40s. Clouds have cleared north of I-10 which will help those to the north drop to the 30s.

Friday Forecast:
Friday grab the jackets! The morning mercury will range from the upper 30s to the low 40s for most. Coastal areas wake up to the mid and upper 40s.
Friday will be cool, cloudy and wet with temperatures in the mid-50s in the afternoon. Scattered showers will be possible, mainly after sunset.
Friday the clouds stick around as an upper low pressure moves east, increasing rain chances through the weekend.
Rain moves in from the west Friday evening.
Weekend Forecast:
All of SE Texas has a flood threat for Saturday. If you have outdoor plans I’d definitely make sure you have an indoor option available, although we are not forecasting a washout.
Sunday will bring a slightly higher flood threat, mainly for areas to our east. Street flooding will be the greatest threat.

It does look like a strong cold front will move through late next Monday into Tuesday. This cold front will finally clear out the rain and lower our temperatures significantly.
