Tuesday’s forecast:

HOUSTON – A cold front moved through Monday evening and that will lower temperatures for one day, Tuesday. We’ll wake up with temperatures in the 40s and 50s and warm to the 60s and 70s. It’s a beautiful cool day with light north winds. But it doesn’t last long. The record setting warm returns Wednesday.

Wednesday’s forecast:

Houston, Hobby and Galveston all tied or set records Monday and we may do it again Wednesday. A warm southwesterly surface winds blows warm air into southeast Texas. I have a high of 86° which is the same temperature Houston hit on Monday. Wednesday record is 84° from 1989.

Next cold front arrives Thursday morning (Copyright 2024 by KPRC Click2Houston - All rights reserved.)
Thanksgiving:

A strong cold front is set to arrive on Thanksgiving morning. Moisture appears limited, so for now, I’m forecasting a 20% chance of rain overnight. By the time we wake up the rain will be out and the cool moves in. If you are taking part in a Turkey Trot it will be cool and breezy. Temperatures slowly lower throughout the day.

Black Friday:

The chill returns Friday, so early shoppers, take note! Temperatures will dip into the upper 40s when the doors open. Highs are in the 60s Friday through Tuesday of next week.

10-day Forecast:

A couple of things to notice here. We won’t go above our high of 68° on Thanksgiving until Wednesday of next week! I also think the 80-degree temperature we reach Wednesday will be the last of the year.
