It’s business as usual at the downtown Houston courthouse complex after a violent incident yesterday left a Precinct 1 deputy and a suspect hospitalized. Deputy Sheila Jones and 34-year-old suspect Parnell Bland were both shot in a shootout outside the Family Law Center at Congress and San Jacinto.
