Teen murder suspects denied bond after Bacliff woman's killing

Seventeen-year-old Tara King and her boyfriend, Uriah Urick, 18, were denied bond during their first court appearance after being charged with capital murder in the death of Tara's grandmother, Tammy Sue King, 61. Authorities say the couple was caught in Laredo after Tammy King was found shot to death in her Bacliff home. Investigators allege the teens tried to transfer money from the victim’s bank account before fleeing.
