Are you heading out to the Houston Rodeo this Friday for Black Heritage Day? There are a number of closures you should keep in mind!

Concert Road Closures

If you are a fan of 50 Cent, grab your concert tickets and meet him at NRG Stadium. His performance will kick off Friday sometime after 6:00 p.m. It’s a great way to kick off the weekend if you are looking for an upbeat start. Before you get to enjoy the fun, there are a few closures you should keep in mind.

According to the City of Houston, here is what you should look out for:

9:00 a.m. - 1:00 a.m.

Lantern Point from McNee to Murworth (Total Closure)

9:00 a.m. – 12:00 a.m.

Murworth from Lantern Point to Kirby (Total Closure)

Kirby from McNee to Westridge (Total Closure)

12:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.

McNee from Kirby to Lantern Point (Partial Closure)

9:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.

McNee from Lantern Point to Main (WB Closure)

9:00 pm to 12:00 am

Murworth from Main Street to Kirby (EB Closure

Westridge from Kirby to Main Street (WB Closure)

Due to weekend construction, pay close attention to road closures around the 610 loop. Be sure to consider secondary routes.
