NBC4 reports that the granddaughter of the deceased contacted police in July after she and her family began finding dead animals on her grandfather’s grave two months prior. According to NBC4, Stroud was arrested in August after he was caught on surveillance video placing dead animals on the headstone and charged with defacing objects of public respect. He must also surrender his driver’s license due to his mental health and will pay more than $2,500 in victim restitution, according to NBC4.

ALLENHURST, Ga. (AP) — It seemed like a major crime for Allenhurst, a town of less than 700 people in southeast Georgia. A female body was spotted by the railroad tracks. It took a while before they realized the joke was on them: The corpse was actually a sex doll. Under department policy, deputies can’t touch a dead body until the coroner arrives. Once the coroner came to the scene, detectives began checking the body for injuries and immediately realized it was a sex doll.

A hilarious video of an Amazon worker delivering a package is going viral online. According to NBC4, a 13-year-old left an extra delivery note on a recent order placed on Amazon by his mom. The note included delivery instructions which said: Knock on the door 3 times and scream abra cadabra as loud as you can and run super fast away.Although unusual, the Amazon worker actually did it! The fossil was unveiled after museum technician Mark Mitchell dedicated six years to painstakingly revealing the dinosaur's preserved skin and bones from the marine rock in which it was encased. But it lived off of plants and favored ferns, based on the contents of its stomach. The researchers compared the contents of its stomach with fossil leaf studies from the same time period and region. The preservation of the plant material in its stomach suggested that the dinosaur died and was buried soon after eating. Gizzard stones, much like those swallowed by birds to help with digestion, were also found in the dinosaur's stomach.

An Uber driver in Virginia has been charged after police say he attempted to chase down someone who hit his car -- without letting his passengers out. Richmond Police have charged Olufemi S. Olomola, 38, with two counts of abduction, reckless driving, and felony hit and run. Murray says their driver, who he identified as Olomola, picked them up outside their home. Murray and Swann are discussing the accident, and their driver hands his phone to Swann to talk to 911. For the next four minutes, the video shows their driver run through red lights and stop signs while the couple pleads with the driver to stop.

BRADENTON, Fla. – Florida police are warning residents to be on the lookout for a criminal who has a thing for toes. Actually, more to the point: Sucking on said toes. A Bradenton man sound asleep in the early morning hours on Dec. 24 awoke to find a stranger sucking on his toes. According to the police report, the man’s toes were in the stranger’s mouth when he was awakened from his slumber. During the melee, the toe-sucking suspect claimed to have a gun and tried to fondle the victim’s “genital area," according to The Smoking Gun.

A 12-foot, 4-inch long great white shark that researchers have named Ironbound has been tracked to the waters south of Key Biscayne, near Miami. The adult male shark weighs 998 pounds, according to the group OCEARCH, which tagged and is tracking the shark. OCEARCH said that seven of its tagged sharks have pinged with their location in recent days. Ironbound is the farthest south and a sub-adult male named Shaw is the farthest north. Great white sharks are the world's largest predatory fish, according to the World Wildlife Federation, and are known to rip bite-sized chunks out of their prey which are swallowed whole.

(WESH/NBC News) Two people were pulled from a minivan as it sank into a sinkhole caused by a water main break in The Villages, Florida Thursday. The minivan was being sucked further and further into the hole when Good Samaritans helped rescue the two people inside. Luckily, no one was hurt. Dave Harris, who lives nearby, said his wife drove by the spot just moments before the van fell into the road. “Came back outside and the van was coming and *clunk* I could hear it scraping,” Harris said.
