It was a great weekend for Seven Lakes High School over the weekend as both their boys and girls’ soccer teams clinched a spot at state.

Out of 43 6A-D1 schools, the Spartans took home the gold and the coveted title of being named "CHAMPIONS." "This is the second time the Spartan Cheer Team has medaled at state," said SLHS Cheer Coach Amy Weaston. KATY, Texas – Seven Lakes High School will be temporarily closed Friday after at least 43 students tested positive for COVID-19, according to Katy ISD. Students and staff will report back for in-person learning on Nov. 3. During the campus closure, in-person students will be provided intermittent at-home virtual learning. These gatherings include off-campus weekend parties where social distancing and mask-wearing has not occurred.”The district is also reporting that two staff members have active cases of COVID-19. According to campus condition stages, the school will not close until confirmed cases exceed 10% of current facility occupancy.
