It was reported that a female in her 20โs had been shot several times and that the suspect had fled on foot. Upon arrival, deputies found a female who had been shot in the head in the courtyard of the complex. According to Chief Deputy Toquica, it appears the victim had a male companion who had been with her at the time of the shooting. The tow truck driver identified as 48-year-old Augustin Martinez was giving a customer a ride when he got into an argument with two men in a red Ford Explorer, police said. Before the shooting, Martinez was able to take a photo of the two men, and now police are asking for help identifying them.

The incident happened around 1:10 a.m. Police said the woman was crossing the freeway when she was struck by a vehicle. KPRC2HOUSTON - At least one child is dead in a crash Saturday afternoon involving multiple vehicles on I-45 northbound in Montgomery County. It happened on the North Freeway, north of Calvary Road, north of the Willis area. Three people were transported to the hospital -- 1 woman and two children -- according to Montgomery County officials. A young boy did not survive, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety, and another child is in critical condition. The northbound lanes of I-45 are closed from Exit 97 to Pollard Rd, so motorists should expect delays.
