The East Houston Civic Club brought new life to Bella Loli Garden Shop on Mesa Road with a vibrant makeover. Local volunteers rolled up their sleeves to paint, plant, and refresh the shop, turning it into a welcoming community oasis. This transformation is just the beginning, as the Civic Club continues its mission to uplift local businesses and bring neighbors together.

HOUSTON – Four new “mini murals” have installed around Houston’s Northside area as part of a project to bring attention to human trafficking. You can find the murals on Airline Drive at Crosstimbers, Airline Drive at Cavalcade, Jensen Drive at Crosstimbers, and Moody Park. A mural in Houston's Northside has the number for the National Human Trafficking Hotline installed to bring awareness of the issue. January is National Slavery and Human Trafficking Prevention Month and January 11 is Human Trafficking Awareness Day. The day also celebrates #WearBlueDay, designed to educate the public to recognize the signs of human trafficking and how to respond to law enforcement.
