Houstonโs Rooftop Cinema Club celebrates spooky season with spine-chilling Halloween lineup
Cinephiles, take your love of movies outdoors with a trip to one of the Space Cityโs coolest theaters: Rooftop Cinema Club Uptown. The popular open-air, rooftop venue reopened in September after closing in 2020 amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Come October, the venue will screen several spooky favorites, including The Nightmare Before Christmas, Hocus Pocus, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Halloween and The Addams Family.

Fans of the film โHocus Pocusโ have taken their love for all things fall and Halloween to a new level. Now at Starbucks, fans are able to order Sanderson Sisters-inspired drinks thanks to fan-crafted orders. We are trying the Hocus Pocus Starbucks drinks hack! Hereโs what to ask for when you order:Winifred SandersonA green tea frappuccino, add one pump of white mocha syrup and peppermint syrup with whipped cream and crushed strawberry inclusions on top. Mary SandersonA strawberries and cream frappuccino, substitute the sweetener for white mocha syrup, strawberry purรฉe on the bottom and top with extra strawberry inclusions and top with mocha drizzle.

HOUSTON โ Rooftop Cinema Club is bringing in the fall drive-in season with comic book heroes, Halloween favorites, romance films and more. Guests can also continue enjoying Rooftopโs popular $5 โCommunity Screeningsโ every Sunday where 100% of the proceeds are donated directly to the Houston Food Bank and the Black Lives Matter organization. For a late-night-date-night Sunday through Thursday, the venue offers $20-per-vehicle tickets (for 2 people) for all 10-11 p.m. screenings. Doors open one hour prior to all 7:30-8 p.m. screenings and 30 minutes prior to the 10-11 p.m. screenings. Guests are encouraged to arrive early as parking spaces will be assigned for each section on a first-come-first-serve basis.
