Skyler Ray Chapman was indicted Tuesday on a charge of criminally negligent homicide in connection to the Sept. 2024 death of Saul Vargas.
Edwards was given a combined bond of $1 million on Tuesday. Officials with the Galveston County Sheriff’s Office confirmed he bonded out of jail around 11 a.m. Wednesday.
