While there are many questions regarding the new vaccines, symptoms or who will be receiving it first, we know it’s making its way to the Houston Greater Area soon.

A group of unsung heroes is getting well-deserved recognition as the faces of Discovery Green’s latest art installation and exhibit.

MD Anderson Cancer Center is in need of blood donations and is looking to raise awareness throughout Houston to increase the number of donations. According to MD Anderson, blood donation is an essential part of healthcare and cancer patients need approximately 200 units of red blood cells and 600 units of platelets each day.

It’s officially the last of No-Shave November! For 30 days, our KPRC 2 team members grew out their facial hair for cancer awareness.

During November, you may have noticed a lot more scruff. Known as “No-Shave November,” each year men across the world put down their razors and grow their facial hair for men’s health and cancer awareness.

During the month of November, the gentlemen of KPRC 2 participated in No-Shave November, raising funds to support cancer prevention, research and education. For 30 days, they put their razors down to help raise funds for No-Shave November, a web-based, non-profit organization devoted to growing cancer awareness.
