HOUSTON – Ohio State All-American offensive guard Donovan Jackson, an Episcopal graduate who capably filled in at left tackle when teammate Josh Simmons was sidelined, visited the hometown Houston Texans on Wednesday, per a league source.
Jackson is a prototypical guard prospect.

Jackson also visited the New York Giants, Philadelphia Eagles, Tennessee Titans, Minnesota Vikings and the Las Vegas Raiders.
The Texans hold the 25th overall pick of the first round and Jackson is projected a late first-round to early second-round draft target.
In the college football playoffs, in 26 pass block snaps, he allowed zero sacks and two pressures for an 86.0 pass blocking grade.
An All-Big Ten Conference selection, Jackson (6-3 5/8, 314 pounds has posted a 32 1/2-inch vertical leap, an 8-11 broad jump and bench pressed 225 pounds 32 times.
Jackson started 40 of 53 career games, including 31 starts at left guard and nine at left tackle.
A former blue-chip recruit ranked first among all offensive guards nationally, Jackson chose the Buckeyes over Georgia, Stanford, Texas and Texas A&M.
